Dental Care for Your Baby

A little tooth. A lovely beginning.

The first giggle, the first wave, the first tiny tooth. There’s a lot to celebrate in your little one’s world, and we’re here for this part.

At Windsong, we help you care for those early smiles with gentle visits, practical advice, and room for every question. Even the ones you think you should already know.

When should we meet?

Bring your baby in when their first tooth appears, and no later than their first birthday. We’ll check their teeth and gums, talk about feeding and brushing, and help you feel ready for what comes next.

Before the first tooth

Gently wipe your baby’s gums with a clean, damp cloth. It’s a simple way to introduce a little daily care before the toothbrush joins in.

Hello, tiny toothbrush

Once the first tooth arrives, brush twice a day with a soft baby toothbrush and a smear of fluoride toothpaste about the size of a grain of rice. You’ll do the brushing for now, with your little one lending the wiggles.

Little habits, growing smiles

Avoid putting your baby to bed with a bottle of milk, formula, or juice. At your visit, we can talk through feeding routines, teething, pacifiers, and ways to make brushing feel familiar.

Welcome to the flock

You don’t need a whole mouthful of teeth to belong here. Just a little smile and someone who loves it.
